Congratulations to our new tumuaki, Matua Jesse Te Weehi. Starting in term 2.

Ngā Utu Whakahaere / Fees

Tamatea High School has opted into the government donations scheme, therefore we do not ask our whānau for a school donation.

School Uniform

It is compulsory for all students to wear the official uniform of Tamatea High School, with the dress code closely monitored. A typical summer uniform for boys or girls’ costs approximately $250.00, with additional items for winter available. It is compulsory for Year 9 and 10 students to wear the PE uniform to all PE Classes.

Sports Contribution

$50.00 (for up to four sports per year). This is a contribution towards national and regional sport affiliation fees, competition fees and equipment purchase.  At Tamatea High School the cost of sports is heavily subsidised by the Board to encourage and support high levels of participation.

All stationery can easily be ordered either online or instore via Office Products. They supply a "core pack" of the basics and other specialty items for specific learning areas, ie; Art, Science, Mathematics.

Please see the flyer in the enrolment pack or request a copy from the Admin team.

Other optional items to be considered are ID Cards at $9.00 (essential to obtain a discounted student rate on the bus and other relevant student discounts) – ID photos are done by our independent photography contractor so payment must be direct to them (generally done in March each year).
